Sooo...How was your day?
The stories that are between the cover of the book are all true and I am amazed I survived them all. LOL For me there are two main ways to look at our stories and our past. We can either see it as a negative or we can see it as a positive event. I chose to see the positive and to see a humorous side to my life. Laughter is truly the best medicine in life. I wrote this book so that one day, when I an old and gray, I can have a good laugh at the things that I did. No doubt, I may likely have forgotten they happened at all. I hope you enjoy each of the stories that I shared with you, maybe there are a few lessons in there for you, but maybe not. How you see life and how I see life are not the same, but I hope you laugh a little while you read each story. I AMIn between the pages, you'll meet two Brenda's. One, a young girl who survives horrific violations and learns to doubt her value, squash her wants, and get caught in a repeating cycle of abuse. The other, an adult woman who gives birth to twin daughter and in that moment, finds a new will to live and to fight for not only for her children, but herself. A will that might be her only saving grace through the agony of escaping a dark and abusive marriage. Book 3 of 4 |

Echoes is the last book in the three part series of Breaking The Cycle. Book 4 of 4 Hear Me Hear Me is the story of Brenda, a little girl who grew up fast, learned to listen to herself, and found her true voice.
Hear Me bears witness to Brenda’s isolated struggle with the aftermath of sexual, mental, and physical abuse, and how it led her into an abusive marriage and horrific divorce, including a murder contract on her life. By the end of the story, Brenda breaks her silence, and with new confidence, shares her voice. Most of all, this book is about finally saying: Hear Me.
